ABRAHAM HUFF
The son of Bergun Huff and Francine Du Bois, whose parents were early members of the First Dutch Reformed Church at Raritan, Somerset Co., N.J. where Abraham was born in 1737. During the Revolutionary War Abraham served in the New Jersey militia in Capt. Peter Vroom's company from Hillsborough, Somerset Co. After the war Abraham and his wife removed to Romulus, Seneca Co., N.Y. where he died on Independence Day, July 4, 1830.
