Valentine Switzer was born about the year 1730 near Mannheim, Germany. Valentine immigrated to the colonies about 1749 through Philadelphia. During the Revolutionary War Valentine donated horses to the Virginia militia. Valentine died at Capon Springs, Hampshire Co., West Virginia in the year 1817.
